My Sweet & Salty Homemade Granola Recipe


Alright, today I am sharing one of my FAVORITE recipes out of my summer cookbook with you — my Sweet & Salty Homemade Granola! What really makes the granola so perfectly flavored, is the sea salt almonds - don’t don’t settle for regular almonds! When I say I put this granola on everything - I mean it! It’s the best compliment and extra added crunch to yogurt, fruit, waffles, ice cream, etc. - you name it, and this granola makes everything taste better!


  • 3 cups old fashioned oats

  • 1 cup sea salt almonds

  • 1 cup pecans

  • 3/4 cup shredded coconut

  • 1/3 cup honey

  • 1/3 cup sugar-free maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil

  • 3/4 tsp. salt


  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

  2. In a large ziploc bag, combine the pecans and sea salt almonds. Seal tightly.

  3. With a wooden spoon or mallet, gently crush the pecans and almonds so they breakdown into pieces. Leave some of the nuts uncrushed.

  4. In a large bowl, combine the oats, crushed pecans & almonds and coconut.

  5. In a separate bowl, combine maple syrup, honey, oil and salt. After mixing, add this mixture into the large bowl and combine.

  6. Pour mixture onto large sheet pan, lined with parchment paper.

  7. Cook for about 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes to get an even, golden brown crunch. Let cool before serving and store in an air tight container.
